Kray Z Comics and Stories 418: Comics Road Trip

This week, Cory!!, Joe and the ever elusive Butch go on a road trip to his comic shops in Southern MN. Ride along as they talk about comics, TV, movies and all sorts of other things, such as:

  • They discuss the shops they will be going to and what they are doing on the day they visit.
  • Books they have been reading lately.
  • What’s going on with the X-Men.
  • IT’S RAINING PRETTY HARD!
  • What is your favorite comic?
  • Conventions, shows and toy shops!
  • Is there black ice on the roads in July?
  • Cory!!’s rules for appearing at a convention.
  • You can even hear the thunder as they drive!

All of this, jokes that veer off the road of good taste, extra shenanigans, and much, much more!

Kray Z Comics and Stories 417: Fantastic Fourcast

Last week, Joe dragged Cory!! to a convention, this week, he dragged him to downstate Minnesota, so this week, they have been hit by the Dreaded Deadline Doom! Normally there is a fill-in episode ready to go, but instead, this is a rebroadcast of another podcast Cory!! does.

The Fanstastic Fourcast had a single episode WAY back at the beginning of the year, but it’s about to fire up again with new episodes, so here is an introduction to the show!!

It’s a podcast 57 years in the making! It’s.. The Fantastic Fourcast! Face front, True Believers, because hosts Cory Strode (yes, he’s on another one) & Adam Vermillion (yeah, that pizza & comics guy) are here to take you on a monthly journey that ranges from Central City to the Negative Zone to Latveria (and maybe Counter Earth) and back.

Every 30 days the guys will talk about four issues of Marvel’s First Family! Cory’s a long time reader and font of knowledge. Adam… is not. At least not about the FF.

Every month, comics companies contribute to the monthly catalog called Previews. And if you want to pre-order your comics, which you should be doing. So, Cory!! and Joe go through the catalog to point out the new stuff, hardcovers, trade paperbacks, and Omnibusessses they will be ordering. They also discuss:

  • Halloween comic fest, is it a thing stores like and care about?
  • Joe doesn’t like the new layout in Marvel Previews.
  • Cory is buying a comic because, Christina Hendricks?

Kray Z Comics and Stories 415: Mad Mermaids Walking While Dead.

So much news this week that all we can really do is talk about it all. Cory!! and Joe go over all of the big comics news this week, including:
