Solitaire Rose Series In Review 4: Master of Kung Fu Part 3

Cory!! Strode and Joe”Kray Z” Rider start a new series of podcasts where Cory!! goes over series from the past in a “DVD Commentary” type fashion to talk about the comics, their place in comics history and why they are worth reading.

Master of Kung Fu was a series about Shang Chi, the son of Fu Manchu, and the rising and advancing of his spirit. It started as a martial arts series that played off of the interest in martial arts movies, but eventually became one of Marvel’s most acclaimed books in the 70’s and is considered a classic today.

In this episodes, they discuss the new direction from when Master of Kung Fu shifted from being primarily a martial arts series to an espionage series. They cover issues:

Master of Kung Fu 29 – 37
