It’s lots of comics news and sales stuff on this week’s show as Joe and Cory!! don their podcasting hats this week.  Thankfully, Joe’s podcasting hat is a cap and Cory!!’s is a Bowler.  No top hats here, kids!  They discuss the sales figures that dropped for the month of February, and dropped is the right word for it. They also discuss the recent column from Brian Hibbs about variant covers as to what sort of comic variants do well in the market.

This leads to a discussion of cover variants not just how they work in the market, but what ones they like to buy and if the market can continue without them!

Plus, the review the trade paperback of the new version of The Flintstones!

The White Queen has gone back to her villainous ways! Some people have gotten upset, some are fine with it, and most of them have forgotten the idea of villains (heels) turning into heroes (babyfaces) and vice verse is one that has been around in comics for a long time!

Joe discusses comics he picked up at Blizzard World by Leo Winsteadm, a comic called “Moving Bodies” and others by Chance Wyatt, comics from Clara Meath, New Avengers by Bendis Vol. 2 and Vol. 3, Maximum Security, and Wolfman and Perez’s New Teen Titans.

Cory!! discusses the 2000 AD 40^th Anniversary special, The Wildstorm #1, Doctor Strange Monsters Unleashed, Fantastic Four by Hickman Omnibus Vol 1, Mighty Thor #5 – 10, and Cerebus in Hell.
