Joe and Cory are going to talk about their favorite time periods for different comic books companies. However, you KNOW that they can’t just start like that. Joe has shenanigans to get through. He is trying to get rid of one of his DVDs, and this leads to a discussion about great director’s commentary. They also discuss:

• Cory goes on an old school rant. I mean Pre-”warm and Fuzzy” Cory. I mean pre- The Four Agreements Cory! I mean “The Most Mizzerable Son Of A Bitch ON The Planet!” Cory!!

We DID have a run-in by Jin Wicked at the end, but technical difficulties caused that part not to be recorded. You can blame Cory!!, since it is probably his fault. He is kind of a doofus. All of this and the proverbial Much, Much more!

Joe and Cory start the show by remembering Elvis’s death, the Beatles at Shea Stadium and The Rutles at Che Stadium. They then jump into talking about Secret Wars, how the Marvel Universe was destroyed once back in the 70’s and why they should be connected.

Joe begins the show by violating copyright and wishing Cory!! a happy birthday. And Cory!! could not possibly care less. They also talk jobs, not giving a damn about the jobs, how to avoid a bajillion empty “Happy Birthday” messages on Facebook and much, much more until they get to the actual comic talk.

Oh, and if you are listening for Jin Wicked, Dan Mohr or Butch…sorry, they took the week off. Or Cory!! drove them away. Probably the latter.

After episode 200, Cory!! and Joe invited Dan Mohr, Jin Wicked and guest interviewer Butch to hang out and chat about their early experiences reading comic strips and comic books.  Instead, it’s pure chaos, lots of laughs and maybe JUST maybe, they are able to make Cory!! laugh so hard the show stops dead for 2 minutes.
