It’s Joe’s last transmission from Dillingham Alaska, and he’s shot out of a cannon.  He discusses the websites he goes to during the day, what he’s been up to, and a kerjillion other things.  He pretty much dominates the podcast, but they DO work in some discussion of the new Batman casting, DC’s 3D cover fiasco, geeking and freaking and lots more.

But mostly, it’s Joe, happy to talk to another human being instead of the Moose and Caribou he’s been dealing with.

It’s special birthday podcast! Cory!! is a year older, so Joe and Cory!! talk about the prizes in cereal boxes when they were kids, because what else would you talk about on a comic book podcast. Other things they talk about on this here comic book podcast are:

• How the weasels at Wizard World and trying to start a Convention War in Minnesota
• Stories of the ice cream parlor “Farrell’s”

We begin, like every other podcast, with Sharknado! And Super Shark! And women in Bikinis! OK, it’s Cory and Joe talking about such movies, not the movies themselves. They also talk about special flavored potato chips, the return of Hostess and the maiden name of Mrs. Freshly. That’s right, it’s a comic book podcast, friends!

OK, they DO eventually talk about comic books, and as they tell stories about one of the local shops setting up at the San Diego Comic Convention which leads into Cory and Joe talking about the news from San Diego that they are excited about. They also have a LONG Freaking and Geeking session, since they haven’t talked comics much lately, so if you have been missing the comical book talk, this episode is for you.
